Great day
Jan 2021
Lovely stretch of beach, plenty of character. We hired chairs from Kevin, they’d seen better days, but were super comfy. We had lunch, and drinks from Juma’s (used to be in Speightstown).

Will be going back tomorrow, highly recommend.

Rico's on the Beach has everything!
Jan 2020
This is an amazing beach that has everything! Beautiful sandy beach with calm water and easy access but the best part was meeting Rico who provides beach beds and umbrellas for the day at a reasonable price and truly gives good service! When we returned for a second day he greeted us by name and remembered where we liked to sit and set up everything for us! He also answered all our questions! We returned several times during our stay on Barbados and were never disappointed. There is also a cute little beach bar called Jujus that is right at the beach beds for easy access to libations and food! Loved it! Thanks Rico for contributing so much to our stay on Barbados!

Great Day
Dec 2019 • Friends
Had an amazing day at Alleynes beach. Rico fixed us up with sunbeds and some beers with a cool box. Lunch and a rum punch at Ju Ju's was fantastic and spent most of the time in the sea. Definitely recommend for a relaxing day out.

Simply Beautiful...
Nov 2019
One of the main reasons we chose our hotel was because it’s right on Alleynes Bay which is regularly described as the best beach on Barbados. The shallow beach has fine white/yellow sand and the Caribbean Sea laps gently along the length.

There are some very good bars and restaurants, the cheaper but excellent Ju Ju’s and Top Deck plus the white tableclothed and pricier Lone Star.

What I really love is the palm trees leaving over in the sand making it look like the perfect idyll. Just a shame the weather wasn’t quite good enough in November for us to lay there every day, 5 out of 10 was just fine though.

Rico's on the Beach
Oct 2019
From beginning to end, Rico was very attentive and on top of his game. He met us right outside the cruise port and drove us to the beach, telling us about the architecture of the buildings and the celebrities that have homes on the island. Once we arrived at the beach, it was a delight. Beautiful crystal clear water, white sand and clean, comfortable loungers with umbrella. The entire day was amazing, and we will use Rico's for every visit to the beautiful island!

Perfect beach
Oct 2019 • Couples
Probably the best best beach in Barbados! We went to Alleynes Bay regularly when we stayed at the Rum Runner just across the road and it was perfect. Juju’s beach bar, sun beds, sun, sea, sand....what more could you ask for!

Stunning beach!
Aug 2019 • Family
We always spend time at Alleynes Bay during our holidays. It’s simply stunning. The water is a beautiful colour, very clear and calm. Rocky in places with the odd urchin. Turtles and stingrays are frequent visitors opposite Lone Star restaurant. We enter the beach via JuJu’s or Top Deck but if you travel by yellow bus just ask for Lone Star and find an alleyway down to the beach. Lunch at JuJu’s, sitting at tables on the sand, is perfect. Freddie charged us bds45 for two beds and an umbrella for the day and is always friendly.

Stunning beach with easy snorkelling
Aug 2019 • Family
Spent the day here with the family (kids aged 11 and 12). We hired sun loungers and an umbrella for the day which cost approx £50 so not cheap but worth it if you plan to spend the whole day there and want to do it in comfort. Plenty of beach bars - we stayed close to Ju Ju’s so that we could use their bar and toilets and had lunch there. The water is extremely tranquil so kids were left to their own devices with minimal supervision. Snorkelling is quite good too - plenty of fish to see straight off the beach. There are jet skis and water inflatables for hire but we didn’t bother with these. This is one of the nicest beaches we visited whilst on the island.

Lovely bay......good beach bar!
Apr 2019 • Couples
One of the larger bays north of Holetown. Holetown itself is a 40 minute walk along the beach at low tide. We walked in regularly and had a beer at Surfside.

The bay is sandy with some slightly stony water entry points. Pick your spot! The water is aquamarine blue. There is an excellent array of water sports if you are so inclined.

Rico’s beach services are excellent. The price(2019) is $15 BBD per item so two beds and a brolly is $45 BBD with a table thrown in. No half day rates😩👎.

Ju Ju’s beach bar is conveniently situated for libations. The Lone Star restaurant and hotel is on the beach as is Top Deck.
