Love it down here.

Bring the kids here fairly regularly for the day as they enjoy the multiple things you can do, bowling, min golf, bumper boats, general arcade machines and so much more.

Fun for all ages and not a bank breaker either. Go in with an amount and its easily a fun day not having to go mad with money. Everything is fairly priced and the staff are extremely helpful.

Visited with a tween and a teen, they had a great time. Bring your own hand sanitiser as the bottles in house were empty. Plenty to do, its not fantastic but it was enjoyable. It could do with a makeover, and fixing some of the arcade games, but we all had an enjoyable couple of hours. Just happy to be out and about.
There was a carnival across the way so there was a good buzz around and had some more fun over there. Lot of steps around, not good for buggies. There was also a drive in circus advertised but we didn't go to that. And a beach down the road.

Been here countless times now and they just don't look after the greens or clubs, the greens have torn up carpet (obviously fake grass) which is a nightmare, the club's the grips were all torn on them , half the water features going around didn't work and you could just see the old algae and scum growing which was kinda of bad because if this course was looked after it would be so fun !. It hasn't been changed in a few years and needs a serious revamp. Won't be back until they change a few things, if it was all in good working order great value for money.

We visited Pirates Cove in early August for a splendid round of mini-golf. (I lost). We were happy to see that the balls and clubs were sterilised and social distancing was in place throughout the course. There was also a one way system in place throughout the complex.

The golf itself was great. Lots to see and do throughout the course - some of the holes need a little more maintenance however.

As with all mini-golf courses, the kids behind us were always putting at the same time - but this can't really be helped. All in good spirits!

A great day-time-date with the missus!

Be wary of some of the patronage in the later evening hours. Riff-Raff!

We visited here the weekend, I thought everything was outside but when we got in you are actually queuing up in a marquee (for boats)The queuing system is non existent, there are signs and posters but no one is adhering to it. The one way system isn't followed by anyone, people are queuing for boats in a marquee on top of each other (for up to an hour). No one has to wear mask, I was the only one in the queue wearing one. We did one ride with the children and left. They do not clean down the boats after each use (they did with go karts). staff are taking masks on and off, this place is going to be a super spreader event if they get the wrong person in. It is chaos, it needs to be policed or shut down before it causes a major health incident in light of the current Covid situation.

The leaflet and online site lead you to believe this is an exciting place to visit with rides, water activities, arcades, soft play etc. The ‘water activities’ such as bumper boats, water bicycles, zorbing etc were all parked up looking sorry for themselves on a dreary, algae-filled pond, which were ‘closed for the winter’. The soft play was the size of my living room, down in the basement, with four chairs for parents to perch on. The soft play equipment was worn and ripped although it did look clean.
There was an amusement arcade with a few machines but nothing for small children. The cafe was shut up and you couldn’t even have a coffee.
The skeleton staff there (two of them) were very friendly though

We decided to go to pirates cove as it looked great with plenty to do. It stated opening hours were 11am so we got there around 11.45am. We met one very friendly helpful guy who explained about tickets etc etc and got us sorted but there was another guy there who clearly didn't have any interest in working there.
Unfortunately the ball area was booked from 2pm for birthday parties so we only really got a hour in it. But the place was cold and dirty, nothing was obviously tidied away from the day before. We had to get coffees and juices ourselves, nobody showed up until it was nearly 2pm obviously to prepare for the incoming parties. Toilets were dirty and dated. The whole place needs a make over, it has great potential but too expensive for the state of the place and the lack of staff, open facilities etc. Some machines were broken, popcorn machine was off, things like that let this place down a lot. I don't think I would go back or recommend, big refurbishment needed. The bowling alley itself was grand but again the room needs a lot of attention.

Myself and the missus went here for a game of crazy golf as we were in the area earlier on in the day.
It's a very nice place and it's not too expensive. It's €9.50 for one adult for 18 holes on the crazy golf course. As you can see from the pictures it's well decorated. Staff are nice. There is a cafe and some amusement machines there too. There is other activities aswell such as bowling, paddle boats and other stuff. It's worth a visit.

We decided to try someplace different, given the Bank Holiday Weekend. Had heard about Pirates Cove, and to be honest the last time I was in Courtown myself I was about 12. We liked to idea of pick a few things to do and pay at the start. So that is what we did, golf, bowling and a few kids things as well. We had a great afternoon, topped off in the "Ticket Arcade " by hit the jackpot of 1500 tickets on one of the machines first go. Cafe is a bit basic in their food ideas and presentation of food, it is what it is. You go here for fun not gourmet food. Great day here would recommend this to others. Give yourself plenty of time
