We visited this market twice on Tuesday 8th January, firstly by day and then at night, it was 5 minutes walk from our hotel Seashells in Duang Dong.

I really enjoyed the night market.
The hustle and bustle was a great experience.
Wide variety of cafes, bars and souvenir shops.
Only slight annoyance was lots of touts trying to get you to taste peanuts.
Very busy market, lots of places to eat and lots of cheap souvenirs, some clothing and shoes.
We had prawns with fried rice, tasted great. Lots of noise and things happening all the time. Watched a waiter cut off the head of a snake, pour...More
The market is more beautiful at night, quite busy. We enjoyed the grilled seafood skewers here. We are surprised by the multiple and diversity of seafood. As if we looked at the whole miniature Phu Quoc with lots of specialties from everywhere on this island.

Hi there! I think it's a bit cheaper in Ho Chi Minh because there's more shops and customers. T-shirts are pretty cheap, about 2 USD. But the quality is equally low. I have made some reviews of sights, hotels and restaurants in both cities, and if you haven't booked a place to stay at Phu Quoc, I highly recommend Daisy Resort. If you click on my profile I think you can see my reviews. Have a great trip and safe travels :)
