Really looked forward to the fish fry and had a good time, but it is very touristy with every "restaurant" having someone outside pressuring you to eat there. I think it has changed from a locals night out to a tourist spot.I had the flying...More

Managed to squeeze in 3 visits to the Fish Fry at Oistins, had the Marlin twice and the Mahi Mahi. We ate at Pats Place - highly recommended. Food was plentiful and the service was super.

Didn't know what to expect really, just a great experience. Loud music, lovely fresh fish to eat. Try "Fred's" on the Main Street, the sword fish is delicious. Don't be put off as Oistins can look a little intimidating but it isn't really. Every Friday...More

When you arrive you need to walk around and look at where you want to eat. There are a lot of people trying to get you to visit there fish booth and eating area. I suggest visiting "chillin and grillin", great dolphin.

Ositins was very crowded with a mix of locals and tourists. The food served however did not live up to expectation. it was quite bland and tasteless. not what i expect of typical Caribbean food.

It is a very busy environment. But I think that is what makes it fun and lively There is plenty of choice in terms of food and vendors The food is good and we enjoyed ourselves I would possibly go again although am not sure.

We walked (older couple) but pavements can be a bit wonky. Or use the reggae buses that cost $2 each irrespective of distance. They will be crammed with locals but they are all super friendly. Take care with buses though as... More
