Ok, but not to good enough justify the price.

We went there for a nice lunch and to enjoy the fanatic seaside around Leuca and were quite diappointed.

The food was quite ok, I am also inclined to say it was good, but definitely not good enough to justify the price or almost 100 euro for 2x plates of seafood pasta, 1 mixed fried seafood (fritto misto) plus a bottle of wine (vermentino, very good 24€). Too much for Puglia and not good enough for Italy.

After lunch, already 3.30 PM we asked the lido (where you rent Sunbeds) for a rare for 1-2 hours as we had other plans. They wanted full day price, even if we had just spend 100 euros for lunch and considering they had more than enough free beds. In the end they offered some discount, but with the condition that we take the last row. It was obvious to all of us, that the empty beds would have stayed empty the for whole day, and that with a better service (and food) we would have probably returned the next day paying happily the full price for the Wilde day.

Their attitude, especially of the girl working there, was very arrogant and not polite and we are, honestly, used to much better.

Summary: great place, amazing view and water, very poor management (lido side) ok so so food for a very high price.

If one day they change management I might reconsider.

A lovely beach club on a raised platform. Easy access to the sea with a good life guard. Reasonable entry price and best to book well in advance. You can eat simple salads or pannini or a proper lunch. friendly staff with clean toilets, you need to pay to shower. Good free parking thrown in

A Nice Change from a Sandy Beach
Jun 2016 • Couples
Our Italian friends and locals at the B&B all recommended Marinelli. We were there in June and as such it was pretty empty since the Italians think the water is "freddo" but if you're from California, it's still warmer than the Pacific and actually quite refreshing when its hot out. They provide various categories of lounges with price decreasing as you move in from the sea. We paid 25 euro I think for front row for two lounges and umbrella.

Keep in mind you will not be at a beach. These are decks that are perched over rocks. There are ladders to get in the water but if you are uncomfortable with getting into water that's immediately deep, this places isnt for you. I thought food and drink were very reasonably priced. 6 euros for a coffee and a Corona beer. Lunch was very good as well. Nice changing areas and very nice and clean bathrooms. Price also includes parking!

Very "lounge-chic" but pricey
Jul 2013 • Couples
We abandoned our Lido Bora Bora for a day to drive further down the coast to see what it was like and our hotel recommended this Lido. It is absolutely gorgeous, beautiful decks, lovely loungers and parasols but you pay for this privilege handsomely. Compared to other Lidos it was over double the price. The restaurant was pricey too, coffees over 3 Euros. All this would have been tolerable if we hadn't had to cough up 50cts for water in the outside showers, that really felt like a rip-off. The sea was gorgeous but I think the access would be quite tricky for young children and seniors. Glad we went, but won't be returning given the cheaper options available.
