Have been here a couple of times. I heard there have been crocodiles spotted but not sure if true. Lovely lakes with birds, very quiet until a bus load arrive. Well worth a visit.

Centenary Lakes is a good place for a picnic, lie in the shade and read a good or have a BBQ. Plenty of shade and parking and so close to the city and many suburbs.

Used to be even better before they prettied it up with a Chinese Pagoda thingy in the lake. Still lovely though for the birds and the trees.
