Impalila Island was amazing. Cruises on Zambezi & Chobe were perfect! It is in a perfect setting to view birds, the Chobe NP coast & to stop for lunch at The Raft!

We were traveling to chose savanna lodge and had to go through the Namibia border located in this island. The service was amazing and fast on the way there and back!

This tiny island in the Caprivi Strip is a gem. The villages are tiny, but there is definite progress: a paved road is planned for spring 2016, electricity is promised, the health clinic next to the school is thriving.

This wonderful island steeped with history of South Africa, Angola, Namibia and Zimbabwe, we experienced a wonderful tour of the island and villages and when climbing the baobab tree could see all 4 countries.
