I live nearby this place such that outings here is a breeze..fresh air to the max and verdant greens all around you! My family used to own a big track of land here which was expropiated to be able to build the lake for electric power after WWII. Aside from it's sentimental value to the family, come and visit this... More

Lake Caliraya has not lost its old charm. It is the fishing and water sports that will attract you as well as the opportunity for a family picnic. It is best to come here for a whole day picnic as well as for an overnight tent and campfire. Of course there is a nearby resort for hotel accommodation.

This is an interesting man-made lake. Unfortunately, the lake is used as a backup supply for a hydroelectric plant, and it gets drained by several feet at various times in the year. When the lake is low, it's not too pretty. The best place to stay is the Caliraya Re-Creation Center.

We visited Caliraya lake and enjoyed it very much. Although there is not much to do, but you can sit and enjoy the big artificial lake, its serene ambiance. As told, it is constructed to provide drinking water.

I enjoyed staying in Caliraya Mountain Lake resort for just a day trip. I enjoy the sceneries and the pool. We also had boat ride, but a bit expensive. The food are fine, just reasonable price, I was just expecting something more special but not. We only had boat ride because the jetski and other activities that their website says... More
