About
The maximum height of the cliff is 21.3 m. The cliff runs for about 2.5 km. Panga Cliff stands as a slate wall reaching up straight from the beach. Interestingly, couple of hundred meters from the cliff in the sea there is a steep slope. The location of the slope becomes visible on stormy days as line of foamy waves. Good to know: Panga Cliff is the highest of all Saaremaa and Muhu northern coast cliffs. The cliffs of Saaremaa are all slate cliffs. On the highest point of the Panga cliff there is an ancient ritual site where people sacrificed for the sea.

I highly recommend a care hire once leaving the city and heading to the island. The ferry was short, like 25 mins or something. It's a beautiful drive up there, passed some horses and enjoyed the leisurely journey there. Tons of space at the car park, slight breezes overlooking the Baltic Sea. I highly recommend just to take in the moments and see more of the island.

Remarkable place, where you can see the sea. We had a lot of fun on the swing. When there's a beautiful weather, it's a good place for picnic too.

A very calm and romantic place. We came here in late evening and watched a sunset while having a small picnic on the cliff. There were some people on the cliff watching sunset too, but it was so calm. There was a huge car parking place (we spent a night here in our van), also a place with wooden tables and benches where you could comfortably enjoy your food.

We were here spontaneous on December. The view was amazing and we were the only people here. There was so much snow - like in winter wonderland!

Not the most impressive of the cliffs that form the Baltic klint (the formation stretches all the way from Gotland island in Sweden through the Estonian coast to Lake Ladoga), but a cool place to make a stop anyway if you are nearby. Plenty of parking space, locations for a picnic and forest trails for hiking. Not a must visit if your time on the island is limited.

Beautiful place on Saaremaa island, Estonia. Nice free park where you can walk along the cliffs up and down!!! There is a cable you can use to climb down (and up afterwards!) to the seaside. For sure, you need to know a bit how to do it and be in shape but otherwise you can stay up the cliffs and enjoy the magnificent location!

Also very thoughtful and nice benches made from fallen trees, whitened and soft! Bring a lunch and wander around this immense place!

Beautiful place but not the most impressive cliff. It's only about a 40 feet drop. You can walk down to the beach down if you want. There is a small shop where you can get coffee and snacks. There are barbecue pits where you can do your own barbecues and the park is a good place for a picnic. But if you have very limited time in the island this is not a must visit.

It was a surprise to find such a cliff in otherwise flat Saarenmaa. The cliff is about 20 meters high. There are more amazing cliffs in the world but it is still worth visiting while in Saarenmaa. The site is always open. Good weather makes a visit more pleasant experience.
