We stayed about 5 minutes drive from Salema and tended to visit most afternoons as it was good for shelter when the wind was up plus it has a lifeguard. We tried all the beaches between Sagres and Lagos and this was our personal favourite....More
Crowded and tricky to find parking in peak weeks. But a gem of a beach all the same. Lifeguard is on duty if flag up. Lots of beds with shades for hire. Small waves so not for boarders.
