Salema village resort has a good beach with ample dining surrounding the resort. Beds and shade if required and ample parking within walking distance of the beach.

A fabulous day out when the sun is shining. Good free parking nearby. All you need is close by...supermarket, bars and restaurants

Although a man made beach, it is picture perfect with calm waters perfect for swimming. Many restaurants along the beach front and the option to rent sun loungers. We are frequent visitors here when we come to stay nearby, there's a pull towards its familiarity...More

The scale of this beach is perfect. Can watch catch being brought ashore by local fishing boats, pulled up the beach by a tractor. Sand perfect for families since good soft and hard areas for game playing. Surf can be rough so care with young...More

Blue water and clear sand! This place is just amazing, you can enjoy with your family and there is some facilities. Must to go!

It's clean, the views are fantastic . It's surrounded by exciting things such as fishing boats, a lovely park, cafes and cafe shops !

Very clean beach. Beds and umbrellas available to hire for €10 for a pair per day. Lovely restaurant right in the beach for drinjs, I've creams and lunch.

yes, salema village is at the bottom of the hill, the hill is steep, i walked it and did not find it a problem. salema is a lovely village with great food and the beach is lovely! enjoy

Roughly 30 miles I'd say but you can probably get a more accurate distance on google.
