Although the beach at Salema was gorgeous, the cold water and incessant winds make it impossible for me to recommend it as a destination.

Salema beach and village sublime, Corsarios snack bar has by far the best, buzziest and cheapest food and drink. Best sangria, best peri-peri, best prawns, best hosts. You can't miss it, it has more patrons than anyone else
