Too many flats and house that give Salema an overcrowded image.but the village has good ambiance and nice and cosy bars. But prices have rusen the last two years despite of the crisis.

Very little new development beautiful beach and great character . This end of the Algarve offers far better value than the Villamoura overbuilt and overpriced Eastern section closest to the airport along with a few very good golf courses

Wind was howling both days. So much so that we could not walk the beach one day. Very picturesque but whole town can be seen in 30 minutes. Restaurant people not the friendliest. Food was good
