The rum is only produced during the sugar harvest, ie normally June to October, the site is kept beautifully and is interesting to see. The real point, though is trying the various rums produced and, If interested buy some. There was never any pressure to...More

Nice place to visit. Friendly staff and food is good. I would recommend to book a table for lunch. They are pretty full and waiting time might be long without booking. Factory visit, history of the locally produced rhum and rhum tasting are the highlights.

You are immediately welcomed by very friendly staff, who inform you how the tour will be done. You can pay the entrance fee, BUT, if you eat there, not. There is a small waiting time, as they put you into groups of people that understand...More

The visit is short but the tasting is good. Pleasant athmosphere and friendly staff Definitely to have lunch or at least the desserts in the restaurant. Entry ticket refundent if you have a main meal, which make the net price more accetable.

We visited here as part of an organised trip - mainly for lunch and a bit of rum tasting. The food was excellent. We tried several rums which were also amazing. Nice grounds and little shop. Worth a visit.

Experienced an authentic visit, in fantastic nature scenery. Close to Chamarel (7 terres, waterfall), worth to visit these sights together. Good value for money, although the restaurant is above average local pricing. The quality of food and service and friendliness is outstanding and largely justifying...More

Prices vary dramatically from 20 to 300 Euros. In my opinion, the rum is not very good compared to the Caribbean and Central America. If you really need a bottle, the Lazy Dodo is quite cheap and makes an okay souvenir. I... More
