Had an amazing day here riding. Well worth the visit! The horses are well cared for and groomed and there is a feeling of friendliness immediately when you arrive!

I used to often attend the Glendalough stables with friends. We always had a great trek and the opportunity to canter then gallop in an open field. The instructors are really friendly and experienced. The horses are well groomed and don't follow in a typical trekking group if you don't want them to. Pick one of the spirited ones if you are experienced. The lazier followers for the beginners.I'll be back to ride here again soon. Great Saturday memories.

Lorraine is absolutely wonderful!! This was a highlight of my trip! I had issues with my transportation getting there and ended up being late. Lorraine was kind enough to still take me to go horseback riding. I went from being stressed out about being late to completely relaxed enjoying the outdoors while riding a beautiful horse, seeing amazing views and learning some of Ireland's history. She's also a great teacher on how to control the horse if your not very familiar with horses like myself. If you have the slightest interest in horseback riding in Ireland this is the place to be! I can not say enough great things about Lorraine and my experience at Glendalough Horse Equestrian.

Wonderful location for trekking on a private estate through ancient Irish forest. Lorraine was fantastic, and had my girls do their first canter ever and first real jumps too. They're delighted!
