The highlight of my travel to Japan was the visit to this most-revered mountain volcano. I am thankful to Ryoko, our tour guide, who made us wonderfully comfortable during our visit to the 5th Station of Mount Fuji. This station is apparently the closest area to the snowcapped peak, and sometimes, not all tourists get there if there's too much... More

It's unique as it is covered with snow. Only in summer snow melts. But rest of the year it looks like an icy white mountain. Fantastic view from lake. Even if you stay far away from it , the pick of mountain are always visible

The easiest way to step on Mt Fuji is to access via Subaru Line. We drove up to 5th station and it was a fairly comfortable drive but we need to pay toll. At 5th station, there are many things to explore including horse riding and walking trial which is very interesting. Worth to mention that there is an interesting... More

If its raining don't do a day trip from Tokyo to Mt Fuji. You wont see anything. Lake Kawaguchi was blanketed in rain, road to 5th station on Mt Fuji was closed, wet weather option offered on tour was closed for 'maintenance' - yes on a wet day. Second option of Mt Komagataka ropeway it was too wet and we... More

After read reviews from TA then went to Mt Fuji 5th Station. When arrived to the toll gate, I had been told to park at Car Park No. 1, 2, 3 and 4 only. Of course, I had no idea what it means. Until arrived to the end of the road, I had been advised to park and that actually... More

We booked this tour through Japanican on our last day in Tokyo. They picked us up at our hotel and took us to the bus station where we boarded our bus for the ride to Mt. Fuji. We were unable to go to the 5th Station, because of the weather so the guide took us to around a lake to... More
