Mount Fuji - Japan
Jun 2019 • Friends
I visisted Mount Fuji for the day with friends and it was such a lovely day out. I would definitley advise to use the Ropeway because it offers you an amazing view of the city, Kawaguchiko. I wrote a Travel Blog of my trip to Mount Fuji, link on my bio on my Instagram if you fancy a read. Shelleyludford

AMAZING VIEW OF MT. FUJI
Jan 2020
Amazing alternative to viewing Mt. Fuji up close via cable car and overlooking Lake Kawaguchi. Cable car ride fare is reasonable and can be combine with the Lake Kawaguchi boat ride.

Great Views and the Scary/Morbid Story of the Raccoon and the Rabbit was Wonderful
Mar 2020
Nice trip up on the cable car. Lovely views of the lake and mountains, and the park at the top is very nice too.

Though what made it more delightful was the scary/morbid story that they illustrate throughout the place. The story of the Racoon and the Rabbit is the theme of this place (it includes murder, revenge and torture but looks like a kids story – only in Japan ;)

We spoke to one person at the Ropeway who had very good English who explained the story to us. It is worth hearing, but maybe not a good one to teach your kids.

Very busy
Nov 2019 • Couples
Getting a ticket was quite confusing. We had to wait in line for a number outside then wait for a couple of hours until our number was called to buy a ticket. The cable car was very busy but once at the top it was very calm and I was glad of the crowd control. It was a little cloudy but you can have your photo with a love bell, rub a lucky rabbits foot and play a good fortune game. There is a really good gift shop and a food stall - you have to have the dango and take a photo! It's a must see attraction for Lake kawaguchiko but just be prepared for a wait if there is crowds

Great views

We got here nice and early so no queues. We had a great view and the clouds moved too!!! We took some lovely photos and stayed up there a while. The lady selling tickets was lovely and we had a little joke with her. There is a small cafe and shop at the top.

Ropeway to See Mt Fuji
Dec 2019
This ropeway located not too far from kawaguchiko station, so you don't really need to take a bus. The ticket price was ¥900 for round trip. You can see mt. fuji, kawaguchiko, and the town from up there. Unfortunately that time the weather was not good, so the hiking route was closed.

Nice views
Mar 2019
If you are like me and love the sight of Mt Fuji this is another way to see it. We went later in the day and it wasn’t too busy. Mt Fuji had a few clouds around by then but still great views. The view of the lake is also great. Gift shop up the top to buy snacks drinks and souvenirs that didn’t seem too badly priced.

Awesome view
Feb 2020
Loved the view from this place! The rope way up was good, however they packed the carts to the absolute max which was uncomfortable. We then decided to walk up the top to the view deck, however this was completely covered in mud and was dangerous walking on as we slipped many times. The souvenir shop was great however.
