From the tourist center bus charges 120 RMB but if looking for some adventure then hire a horse from new village across the river. Its charges around 200 or hike free of charge. Must take water and food if hiking. Be carefull on the edge...More

Good exercise to walk up, around 1068 steps, but when you reached the top, not many things to see. And you don't have to join the boat tour to tour around the lake, it's boring and waste of money.

You need to walk up the hill before you can get the panoramic view of Kanas. Guanyu Pavilion is the right place. There are many steps to climb but worth the effort.
