One can drive upto Sonprayag. There you have to register yourself with the government (very easy process). From there you have to compulsorily take a shared taxi to go to Gauri Kund which is 5 km away. There are a lot of places to stay...More

May is raining time but you can enjoy that to and in September it very cold if want to avoid the rain and landslides September is the best session.
