Nice beach, but very dirty. Garbage is strewn everywhere. Since lot of people visit Velankanni for the church, Authorities should try to maintain the beach. Maybe they should hand over the beach to the church authorities who are maintaining the huge church complex spotlessly clean.

It was a great experience to us, we enjoyed a lot in the beach. You can have taste of seafood on the shore. More attention on cleanliness is must on the beach.

Nice beach, but very very very dirty. Hope the authorities take measures to clean it. Plastic wastes are thrown everywhere. It would have been a lovely beach if it's taken care off, accept the fact that the crowd is high but still can take some...More

Not a great beach atleast near the happening places. Need a missionary project to safe guard the hygiene of beach.

Once it was a fear to everyone. Many lives had lost in tsunami. Now it's a calm sea. Comparitively it's hot up here.

this beach is the nearest tourist destination near to velankanni church. the cleanliness of this beach and beach side is very poor and market is near to this beach. visitors to the church may avoid this beach. the beach side shops are economic for shopping.

An early morning visit over the sea should be a pleasure mission and raise your spirits for the day but what a disappointment: beach was filthy and stinking I strongly recommend you to AVOID this. But if you are brave enough get a handkerchief on...More

The beach was fully with thrashes and no clean place to seat too... The pathway to beach is encroached by lot of shops. Reaching by foot is faster than vehicle. Needs a lot of improvement. I saw no dustbins or scavengers for cleaning the mess.
