Beautiful place. It is really breath taking moment. Since we visited in August there was no tea/coffee/momos stall in operation. It becomes operational during season from mid September till June. It was chilling cold.

Beautiful valley in the lap of huge mountains. Best time to travel is April. You can see both blooming Rhododendron flowers as well as snow. It is in Lachung. You can travel both Lachung & Lachen in same trip.

weather is unpredictable. can not see beauty of yumthang valley at this time.I think best time to cover all things is between last week February to First week April.

You will need to leave from the hotel at Lachung at about 5 AM. You will cross the Rhodendron valley, then Yaumthang and then zero point and back to hotel by noon. Then have a quick lunch at Lachung and leave for Gangtok to... More
