What a gem
Feb 2019 • Family
Happened on the Tierpark on our first day in Weeze, we were planning a nice chilled day following our previous days drive over from the UK.
What a happy discovery this place was. No charge on arrival just the option to purchase animal feed.
We saw horses, llama, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs to name but a few.
My only issue was in the guinea pig enclosure was also birds. I discovered one of the guinea pigs had a big gash on its back which I suspect was inflicted by the bird. Not quite sure Why birds and guineas would be housed together?

A quick passage through this little zoo
Nov 2018 • Couples
We walked the "Nierswanderweg" which lead you straight through this children zoo, there are some pigs, goats, sheep, chicken, turkeys, deer, etc. and when we were there someone did flying excercises with an Oehoe owl and some other birds of prey. It is often very busy with children and parents so I believe for this category families this zoo is attracktive. 3/5 In summertime there is a little resto for snacks and drinks. The entry is free of charge.

Well worth the visit
Aug 2017 • Family
We lived in Weeze about 25 years ago my boys were very young and we often spent hrs here feeding the animals and spending time with there friends . Across the Rd is a garden centre where we would buy our plants and other trinkets for their friends to remember visiting . Three times a week was normal for myself and my boys to visit . The deer 🦌 are something to see when I last went they had a 12 pointer he was a beast and knew it . Weeze town is gorgeous and the ice cream parlour needs a visit . In winter the xmas market is beautiful. The people of Weeze are very friendly would love to be able to visit in the future .

Brilliant little park
Apr 2018 • Family
We have driven past many times but today we decided to cycle over to the park and see what was there. We weren't disappointed, there was a good range of animals all in huge pens/fields. You can purchase feed for €1 a box, which I think is an excellent price. The park is free to get into aswell. We really enjoyed feeding the baby goats and seeing the little warthogs playing in the mud. This place is a real gem. There is also a cafe on site. We will be visiting again soon.

Native animals
Nov 2017 • Solo
Generally I am not into zoos (animals in cages), but this garden I found quite acceptable as the animals have lots of space to roam about and in case of the boar a muddy place where they don't get bored. Really liked the red deer among them a big stag with beautiful antlers. Also the fact you can walk in without having to buy a ticket enhances the idea you are not too far away from nature.

Good variety of animals

We walked through the Tierpark on our way into Weeze for dinner. Nice selection of animals (especially for children) and they have animal feed for sale. Animals looked well looked after.
