If your active your going to love this place. On or off water plenty to go. There's a regular ferry to get you about to and a pub with good food and drink. Throw in an obsevetory, good walks and amazing views. Don't miss it.

The Kielder Water and Forest Park area lies near the borders of England and Scotland and is relatively quiet. The scenery is beautifully green in contrast with the blue of the waters on a sunny day, or grey when it is cloudy.

Hi Peter, answers as above but I would add that a lot of the road becomes more of a track at times so it can be quite entertaining negotiating it. But worth it and certainly worth stopping along the way for walks etc. We... More

It has footpaths all round, gets quite muddy & is hilly in places, but yes an all terrain buggy would be fine!
