Really just a beautiful area with the mangroves, and soft sand. I went out snorkeling with the wife and got to see some of the most beautiful yellow montipora corals with very striking beautiful colored fish, there was also a shipwreck, small traller I think,...More

Mangel Halto was our favourite snorkeling spot in Aruba. This peaceful lagoon is a great place to relax and to discover Aruba's underwater life. You will need to swim a bit to reach the living coral reef, close to shore you won't find healty corals....More

The beach here is nice, named for its tall mangroves. My husband amd I went diving here in a refresher course. The beach area has shallow water perfect for reviewing hand signals and basic things. Swim a little out and down and the bottom is...More

Disappointed. We stopped here to snorkel as we had heard it was a good place to access from shore. Upon entering the water (there is a dock you can get into the water from), the amount of trash in the water ruined the experience. There...More

We made a trip to Mangel Halto for the snorkeling reviews. Honestly we were extremely disappointed. Water is not clear for snorkeling, the lower spots were not well kept and no good snorkeling by the cliffs. Definitely not worth the trip- head to boca Catalina...More

Love Mangel Halto for the snorkelling, the laid back atmosphere, the local vibe, and the beautiful warm water of course. Experienced snorkelers can do a great drift snorkel here, excellent coral and marine life.

We went here one day to do some snorkeling and take a swim. This spot was not very crowded. Seems like locals like to come here, which was nice. There were shady spots (palapas & mangroves) to put your stuff, and plenty of nice, calm,...More

The water is clear, shallow and full of fish that can be seen while walking through the shallow water. Many snorkelers around in deeper water, probably saw more. Next time we'll have to bring gear.

We did the drift. We jumped in at the dock at Puerto Chiquito and swam out of the middle cut. we intended to immediately do the drift to Mangel Halto but to be honest the area southeast of the cut is a really great site... More
