Excellent Scenery

Stunning scenery, only a short walk from the car park, about a mile or so from Clonmany, highly recommended.

Lovely walk
Sep 2020 • Couples
The walks booklet gave the impression that the incline was gentle. It was fine for us, but could be a challenge for some. It took us about 30 minutes, including a short steep walk up to a good viewpoint. There were places to sit in many places, including at the viewpoint. The path was made of small stones and was well compressed. A very pleasant walk to a small waterfall.

Short walk to falls
Aug 2020
Beautiful surrounding countryside and a short walk to this waterfall. No need for hiking boots and easily accessible even if you have some difficulty with mobility. Well worth a visit. Don't forget as well to take a walk up a higher path to a beautiful views on your way back to the carpark.

See a Waterfall and go on a hike
Jul 2020 • Family
The hiking paths above the waterfall are easy to follow and you get awesome views. There are paths which have survived some torrid weather over the Winter and Spring.
I saw some wheelchair users get an easy tour due to the quality of surface. This is a very accessible site and be you young old or have a disability of some sort.
There is an excellent coffee shack where you get the best coffee in Clonmany. Tea is also available plus water and a range of soft drinks.
They also do a very nice line in soft scoop ice creams. All family members will be happy.
The only down side was the lack of toilets due to Covid 19 regulations. I thought having witnesses O. A. P. s look for toilets that it was a silly rule. Maybe the Government would look at this issue again. Car park could also do with an extension. The place was so busy, because it is free to enter and you give a donation to a box on a wall. Oops I forgot no dogs allowed.

Pretty

Nice walk leading up to the waterfall on a quiet Sunday morning. Not too many visitors around so it was quite romantic. The waterfall itself won’t blow you away on size but it is a cool visit.

Special mention for the tea room at the bottom. Friendly staff with excellent tea and blueberry muffins!

Short but beautiful walk
Aug 2020 • Family
This is a lovely walk and only took us a 45 minute round trip. We definitely could have done it in less time but we stopped a few times for photos.
Make sure to go up the hill to the viewpoint (approx 5 mins into walk, there is a trail to the left).
The waterfall is impressive at the moment as there has been a lot of rain.
Path is fully accessible and you wouldn't need trainers/walking boots.
There are picnic spots if you are lucky enough to get a dry day!
Good signage about social distancing and sanitizer is available at the gate.

Great day out but take a mask (for the bugs not corona)

Surprised by the waterfall at the end of the walk! Much bigger than I expected! The walk is also beautiful and lots of picnic places, unfortunately we went at a bad time and got ate alive by flying ants but aside from the that it was lovely! The wee craft shop is a lovely touch too and I left it with a bag of smelly stuff and empty pockets!

Gallons of water!
Jul 2020 • Couples
Had a lovely visit to the Waterfall. There had been some heavy rain for a couple of days prior to our visit and this was evident in the sheer volume of water pouring over the fall.
The path up is very well maintained and there was adequate parking.Hand sanitiser was available and there were posters reminding visitors about social distancing. This is a free attraction and is well worth giving a donation in the box to keep it maintained.
Also recomend the ice cream from the little cottage!

A hidden gem

Fabulous walk up to the waterfall. The waterfall itself was stunning, our only regret was we didn't bring our swimming gear with us.
