Visited here for sundown, incredibly disappointed. We found it soulless and the staff unengaging. May well have been bad timing on our part but we much preferred nearby Little Bristol Bar in Speightstown.

We visited Mullins beach bar on several occasions as we were staying close by. Delicious food, especially the jerk pork. Great cocktails too. By far the best time to go is Sunday afternoon as when the sun goes down, the music and dancing begin. Great atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. You MUST visit! It could benefit from blinds for when... More

We went along on a Sunday night and the place was rocking! Live music, packed and great atmosphere. Good rum punches. If too loud, just take your drink onto the beach below. Great fun.

I've been here a few times, at the beach and used the restaurant. We went on Wednesday ordered a couple of drinks and a desert. The desert took ages to arrive but to be fair the waiter apologised in a very friendly manner but the same thing happened last year. Most of the time the restaurant staff are rude beyond... More

After 23 years we returned to Mullins. Wonderful lunch. Simple good food in really friendly surroundings and great to find the real Caribbean which unfortunately has disappeared. So many places are designer European restaurants which cost the earth and you could be anywhere but not with Mullins. You must go here when you visit Barbados. It is a must.

We were 18 of us celebrating my sister's birthday in Barbados and we were tasked to find somewhere to host a cocktails and canapés evening on the beach with music. I had contacted Rory the owner back in the summer and he came back to me immediately with great ideas and we confirmed. We arrived on the island and met... More

If you are on the upper west coast in Barbados do not miss Mullins Beach Bar. It used to be a shack on the beach, with delicious flying fish, but was upgraded a few years ago when it became the beach bar for an upscale hotel. It is still accessible to the public, has retained its laid back atmosphere and... More
