" Residence of The Nilambur Royal Family on the banks of River Chali"

Nilambur Kovilakom the residence of the Nilambur Royal family who ruled "Eranad" is now called Kovilakom. The architectural excellance of the Kovilakom, the near by Vettakkorumakan temple etc is amazing. The Buildings are in traditional Kerala architectural style and the technology to maintain temperature inside the Kovilakom and Temple is still a mystery. The Kovilakom is being visited by tourists from several Foreign countries and is a main attraction near Nilambur.

I stayed there for 2nights in kovilakom home stay .it has one of the best art and architecture u have a temple front of this kovilakom .
