We chose to go up to Karaganda this way as one of the party was afraid of heights. It was a stunning ride with amazing views. All of us loved it.

Its an amazing experience. The cablecar takes you through the jungle. You have two stations, where you can get out and walk around and enjoy magnificent views over the landscape. The staff is friendly and helpful and always smiling. Make sure that you book your ticket in advance.

Our last day trip was to catch the scenic railway up to Kuranda, passing Barron Falls. After exploring Kuranda we then came back on the skyrail.

Another well run tourist spot. On our day it was raining in the morning however we were provided umbrellas on each stop. Beautiful scenery and great looking down on the rainforest. Staff were all very nice and polite.

Spectacular views from above the rainforest are plenty on the skyrail, there are 2 stops - one opposite Barron Falls & a rainforest stop. The trip is best combined by catching the scenic railway train up to Kuranda from Freshwater Station, leaving your car there & spending some time looking around Kuranda at the top. Then board the skyrail for... More

We did the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway trip on an intermittently rainy day, but our views weren’t too limited by cloud cover. The Skyrail is a 7-1/2 km long aerial trip just above the rainforest treetops. You can get off the gondola at 2 stops to walk at ground level in the Rainforest. We alighted at each stop, and did the... More

All day event with exciting journey onboard the train, departs from Freshwater and arrives at Kuranda or vice versa. Plenty of time to soak up the local cuisine or just a coffee and a snack. Lots to see at Kuranda Village Markets and time to browse. Suitable for all weather conditions and bookings ARE essential. Take your camera for some... More

Must do if visiting the Cairns area. Took our 4 y.o and 10 month old children. Eldest loved the scenery and cable ride. At every stop staff were friendly and helpful. We had a small pram they would send behind us in another cable car. Upgrade to diamond floor for one way definitely worth it!
