Irpu falls is on the way from Kutta towards Virajpet. Sign boards are plenty and google also gives exact drive instructions. The approach road is narrow and around 200mtrs from destination, the road is bad. Cars with low clearance need to be mindful. Once you reach irpu temple you can take entry tickets (25 per head) and take an easy trek of around 750mtrs to the falls. There are atleast 100 steps to climb on the way. You have to ensure that the local area had received rainfall before visiting. Otherwise you will be disappointed. I wonder why people don't research and visit places. Then they get disappointed and write reviews are if it way not their mistake. I visited in October after monsoon, and the waterfall was in its best. You can hear the rumbling even before you reach the place. Some people will make adhoc arrangement and will try to swim in the water. Please don't. Reason being this is inside Brahmagiri park area and there are lots of snakes. Good to view and witness the power of water. If you need to cool down, trek back and have fruit juice/lemon soda near the entrance.…

Need to walk for 10 to 15 mins,while we reaching there it was raining and cant able to spend much time ,if you going in rainy season visit by 10 to 1 pm,be safe while we had a bad experience got bit by inserts we 5 members got blood,wear shoes and full length pants.while walking be safe all around snakes an inserts are available ,overall gud experience …
