Perhaps we were very lucky, but once we got there around 11am the beach was empty. Just few staff members from the restaurant approached us to offer drinks or lunch, but they weren't importunate. We had really good time swimming and snorkeling at the relatively clean place.

This is the main street along the sea. There are restaurants, fruit juice shak, handcrafts vendors, groceries stores, and much more. The street is closed from Friday till Sunday for walking only. On Saturday night, it can be very busy as every bar and restaurant have parties.

A pleasant way to end the day after you've been boating or beaching around Taganga area. A collection of vendors and food huts, and a cool breeze to dry off....

For me taganga was not really a nice place like a imagined.... it is not clean and I didn't feel really safe. We did the trip to Minca, really cool. I would not come back to Taganga, other cities or village are beter!

It's just a road basically that fronts the rather dirty beach. But the views at sunset are amazing as the sun sets over the bay. So grab a beer and hit the beach when sun starts to sink

If you like an abundance of pebbles, beer bottle caps, and cigarette butts in your sand, you'll love this beach. The water and the view of the mountains is very nice but the beach itself is nothing special at all and not a great place to relax either. If you don't want to pay for the nicer beach, this is... We wanted to swim so off we went in a taxi to Taganga. Once there we took a brief stroll down the sidewalk, observing the businesses and the beach front which was mostly of fishing and transport boats. We stopped for fish soup which by the way was delicious! We found out where the swimming beach was and took a... More

The beach isn't great but it's a beach with amazing weather and beautiful temperature if water. Also, it's flipping free unlike the other surrounding beaches which cost about £40 their and back for two people? Nah. Never.

The beach here is great, we parked our car without any problems and found a nice spot to sit. The beach is great as it's not over crowded. The food was the problem! The fish was not the one we ordered and the beef as so hard and cold we could not cut it or eat it. There was no... More

It was a small fishing village, now there are a lot of hostels, Restaurants, pubs, and shops. You can spend their a night, but more is a waste of time. There are still some hippies, i'm sure you can also pay them with Marihuana. The only positive sie was the nice French Restaurant called a dereiva. Finally fresh Fisch that... More
