We stopped whilst on a walk recently. Good cafe with outdoor seating and lovely grounds with interesting displays and great views. Good exhibition space, with good quality local art for sale

Don't know about capital of cake here should be king of cake and best coffee this side of the pond the staff were very friendly and helpful and the owner would make a great tour guide

I don't think so but the staff are really helpful so I am sure they would let you leave the bag somewhere safe. Just ask.
