Over priced. Not worth visiting
Dec 2018 • Friends
Went to visit the villa. Not worth visiting at all. Totally over priced. We complained about the cost. The staff acknowledged this but did nothing about it.

Worthwhile visit for Palladio fans
Jun 2018 • Couples
An interesting property--but the best thing is the lovely stable-turned-small-inn and restaurant, La Barchessa. Luxury at non-luxury prices.

I had the good fortune to meet the owner of this Villa, and knowing that I am a student of Palladio, she invited me to make an appointment to visit.
The Villa is beautifully restored, and sits in its own park. The ceilings have magnificent frescoes. After touring the interior, I was permitted to sit on the grounds to do a sketch of the Villa. An eminently worthwhile visit.

Dear Andrew, it's such a pleasure to read your nice review. Congratulations for your extraordinary sketch! Andrea Palladio lives on through the studies and passion of students just like you. All the best from Villa Pisani Bonetti

One comes to see a Palladian villa (like Badoer or Caldogno) to experience the atmosphere of Palladian times with as much authentic frescoes, painting and furnishings as possible and NOT to see a promotion of some irrelevant contemporary artist. This villa is the worst of many one can visit in this respect and the admission price for seeing contemporary decorations is way too high. So I would avoid this villa in favor of much more interesting ones such as Emo, Valmarana ai Nani, Godi Malinverni or the ones mentioned above.

Dear Visitor, thank you for visiting Villa Pisani Bonetti. We're really sorry for your opinion. You had the chance to visit a Palladian Villa and I'm sure you could perfectly perceive the owner's love for its value proven by the delicate and demanding restauration work that has been undertaken through a long and accurate project, not to say some financial resource. The result is, contrary to what you stated, one of the best and most successful ones, considering that after almost five centuries, you are supposed to appreciate the well preserved container rather that the contents. Yes, you may not like it since "De gustibus non disputandum est". Frankly, this is a private house, and furniture and artworks can be chosen by the owner who clearly respected the historical value of the Unesco World Heritage Site in question. Eventually we just want to tell you that the contemporary art collection, which is inside Villa Pisani, is constantly changing and in June, there will be a new Exhibition. We really hope you'll have the chance to visit again and to reevaluate the Villa. All the best from Villa Pisani Bonetti

Interesting for seeing Palladio story
Apr 2017 • Couples
We saw this villa following Andrea Palladio buildings/story. Great place to start, to end with La Rotonda.

An amazing Palladian Villa
Oct 2016 • Friends
The villa is a fantastic example of Palladian architecture, set in a large garden, the river Gua' once strategic, one one side. The rooms are now also used to showcase modern art, which somehow fits rather cunningly the classic atmosphere of the villa.
The visit must be pre-booked (check their website).
