quiet place free to visit

located a little bit far. not so many people. have something to have a look if you never been to a Korean museum.

C1 ( 2015.05.21 ) This museum was very quiet, and had vast garden. This place was a park rather than museum. The atmosphere was very good, and clean. But the contents was a little common, I think. The Jeonju National Museum is free and is next to the Jeonju Historical Museum. It is on the road to Gochang so it can be visited in conjunction with a visit to that city or on its own. Most of the artifacts are from the Baekje kingdom but a nice thing is that they also have artifacts from the Mahan... More

I live near the museum, so I have visited a few times. There are various exhibits focusing on local history and always some new temporary exhibit, so I always feel like I get something new. The info in English can be limited--very hot or miss. Often Koreans who are visiting can help, and my intermediate Korean get me by. The... More
