Close to Nambu Market, Jeonju Cathedral and the Gyeonggijeon. Visited once in the day and passed by once at night. Worth a visit. Probably take 5-10mins taking photos and you're done.

It's free to see it so if you are in the area worth a quick visit but I wouldn't recommend making this your main attraction. The Hanook Village is close by as is a number of markets.

standing in the middle of the urban spraw, you'll find this old gate. Found a really awesome pancake shop just opposite to admire the gate and chow down on sweet pancakes.

Within an easy 5 minute walk from the main temple. It is grand historical gate well restored and looks magnificent at night. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.

As one of the old Chinese gates to the city, Pungnammun is a relic of Jeonju's history. It is just on an island in the middle of the road, but it becomes a lot more scenic at night when it is illuminated.

We passed by this Pungnammun gate along the way to Nambu market. Monumental structure which gave this city a different feel to it, a pivotal one. Historical site which was re-built in 1768. Impressive that it's still standing tall after such a long period time...More

It is located in front of south gate market. I am not sure if you can go inside. No need to visit here only for this gate.

You will definitely pass by Pungnammun when you are walking from the Hanok Village/Jeondong Catholic Church to Nambu Market. It offers a different view in the day and night. In the day it looks traditional, and at night it's lit up and looks really beautiful!
