At the Ionian island (Lefkada) is a very touristic village called Nydri. At the middle of this village is a road for a very beautiful canyon with a waterfall at the end of 350m walking distance from parking.Easy access with a very relaxing canteen at the beginning of the trail.

In October it's not too hot to take the 40 minutes walk up to the waterfalls where you will be rewarded with spectacular views. Take water with you as there is nowhere for refreshments on the way.

Very nice place to go to. Little adventure if i may say, great landscape, expecting lot, and geting it for sure. Ice cold water, but take a swim, you will fall in love with it. In my opinion , one of the “must see” places...More

A long walk, and unfortunately no water flowing, and only a pool at the top under the waterfall. Interestingly, there was a crab, a frog and some fish in this pool ! I'm sure in the wet season this is much more worthwhile to visit....More

Visited on Sunday 8th Oct 2017. Plenty of rain on the day before, so we thought a leisurely walk from Nidri would be a good idea and there would be a decent 'torrent' of water over the waterfall. Wrong. Complete waste of two hours, nothing...More

A gentle walk from the town centre. Smell the oranges and peace of the countryside. The falls depend on recent weather

We had a pleasant 45 min walk from Nidri taking in the wonderful smells and views of olive and lemon groves. We left early in the morning as it was cooler and spent a good couple of hours here, the waterfalls were stunning and water...More

It made for a decent few hours to kill, and we were fortunate having driven 90% of the way and parked at the base where many people had walked the 3km road on the way there. There is little water this time of year and...More

Quite near of the downtown, 3 km's or so. Excotig cave area with a so called waterfalls. I would not call it a waterfall though, rather was it a water stream coming down.

You can drive and park near to the cafe before to start your climb up to the falls. It is also nice to sit and have a coffee in the falls cafe. Hope this helps... 😀.
