I was staying in Courtenay for a long weekend in April. I had never been in a kayak before and decided I should give it a try. My wife and I booked a "Morning Paddle" which followed the coast in the Saratoga Beach/Miracle Beach area. Our guide, Jesse, gave a quick orientation and had us in the water in no... More

Many thanks for to Jessie and Sandra for our fantastic 4 night west coast Vancouver island kayak expedition. Paddling out from Quadra island we weren't quite prepared for the level of wildnerness we were to experience but we didn't see another person for the whole trip-it was fantastic! Camping on the shores of these fantastic islands we were well looked... More

I found Grey Wolf through an article about how millennials like to vacation. Well they were right. I LOVED the time I spent out on the Island with Grey Wolf. Once we were picked up in Campbell River we didn't have to think about a thing. When at camp if you wanted to sit and watch the boats go by,... More

Sandra, Jesse and Dan went well over the top to ensure that we felt well taken care of during every part of this trip, from first contact with Sandra, to meeting Jesse the night before, pickup in the morning, and drop off after. Camp itself is completely luxurious with excellent food, conversation and entertainment. The tents are roomy and the... More

I did the 5 days / 4 nights Discovery Islands Tour and was even better than expected. Guides were very kind and helpful, as well as excellent cooks. All gear (high quality standards) and food is provided so you just need to think about paddling and observing the incredible wildlife around you. I shared the expedition with very nice guys... More

Just returned from the 5 day 4 night Discovery Islands tour and am ready to return. Jesse and Dan, our guides made the trip extraordinary. They taught us everything from how to load the kayaks with personal gear, tents, sleeping bags, food, water, cooking supplies to the relevance of considering the tides for our daily excursions. Each day was filled... More

Just got home from a 5 day kayak tour with owner Jesse and his right-hand man Dan! Booked online, not knowing much about sea kayaking or the area itself. We were treated so well with Jesse's knowledge, experience and genuine caring personality. They truly are the guiding company to choose. Everything was organized, but flexible. Days were flexible based on... More

Imagine this: three dream-like days way out on the Johnson Strait, sea kayaking, trying our hand at salmon fishing, and being pampered to the limit in a stunning campsite tucked in the forest on a broad cobble beach. Oh- saw orcas daily, eagles too Probably the most comfortable big tents with comfy beds I have ever experienced. -and meals whipped... More

We chose to spend three nights in the Orca Camp. It was the best decision ever. The camp is very comfortable and looking really cute and tidy. The tents were big and the beds super cosy. What made the expedition so spectacular was our guide Jesse. He is THE best. He really listened to us: if we didn't want to... More

We went to Whale Camp as 2 families. Guides were helpful, knowledgeable. Tents were luxurious -- right near the water, huge walk-in size, fuzzy blankets provided. I can't remember when I've slept better. We saw orcas, humpbacks, sea lions. Beach-side sauna was fun. Kayaking and hike to waterfall were fun ways to explore the area.
