The national pass bush walk is one of the best experiences in bush waking. About 3 hours of bush walk with chit chat and natural mountain beauty. Easy to follow paths and safe waking tracks.

Started hiking from Wentworth falls to Vera falls and return. Lots of stairs but worth it. Lots of water falls to enjoy. Not many people, peaceful and quiet. Enjoyed the walk very much.

Having hiked all kinds of hikes from lowlands to highlands, this ranks in the top 5 for uniqueness, views, and fun features. Also very easily and quickly accessible from the city. Great Family Day.

I saw quite a few dogs. Some areas would be a challenge - long dropoffs along narrow paths over slippery stone, with a handrail suitable for humans but not likely to prevent a dog from sliding off into the canyon ... and... More

I would plan for the ~4 hours. Of course, it depends on your fit, how long the breaks on the way would be, etc. But do it, don't skip it ...
