We didn't actually go in the lightstation, but drove to it and walked along a trail which gives you a nice view over it and the ocean. But the main attraction for us was seeing the koalas in the trees on the way there. This...More
Well the biggest issue for some people visiting is value for their dollar. The entrance fee of $19 or thereabouts is a big ask especially for families. I don't know what the answer is because if I had all my kids with me I may...More
We went on a very cold day with high winds, but that didn't stop us from going to the top and walking around the lighthouse exterior. I had no idea what I was in for when I stepped out of the lighthouse and I don't...More

Unfortunately we paid 38$ for me and my wife to visit the lighthouse. The views are nice but are way nicer in 12 apostles and other areas. And if you are thinking about getting in to see koalas, there are actually more in the road...More
Thanks for your review. We try and focus on the heritage of the site and share both indigenous and early immigrant stories through our guides stories and the interpretive information throughout the 200 acre site.

Thanks for your spectacular review!

Thanks for your great review -its awesome to read how much you loved it!
Took a drive from Ballarat with the intention of seeing some of the Great Ocean Road, Twelve Apostles and the Cape Otway Lightstation. Having travelled most of the east and west coast of Canada, and seen a lot of lighthouses, we pretty much new what...More
