We stayed in the centre of Barcelona however found that this beach was the best around. Just under 30 minutes of train journey from Catalunya station, it's in zone two so be sure you have the right travel ticket! Towards Ocata beach, try finding a...More

Visited the beach late autumn. It was still almost 24 degrees but beach was almost empty. The shore was strange because you couldn’t hear the waves until you were really near them. Would like to visit again when it’s “more summer”.

Great beach for someone wants to have peace and wants to see as less as possible crowd. I didn’t find it suitable for snorkelling though.

Definetly a good spot where to enjoy a beach day away from tourists. Also very nice Chiringuito Bambu right next to the sea where to eat and have a drink ☺

Fun place! Make sure to stop in the shops and bring a sandwich before you go. Also, there are great restaurants on the beach too!

Walked here from Alella. Beautiful golden sands, plenty of space and clean! Bit hot underfoot without flip flops and bring your own shade - definitely needed along with the factor50!

Barceloneta was too busy for our liking so we went to Ocata. 30 minutes by train, 5 euro each, round trip ticket, not far away from the train stop. It is not secluded but it's huge so there's room for everyone. There are a few...More

You can take the R metro train to Ocata station from central Barcelona, the station is right on the beach.
