If you are travelling between Cordoba and Sevilla, you shouldn’t miss this castle. It looks gorgeous even fron miles away when still driving on the highway. The visit is much more fun for Game of Thrones fans.

I thought it was really cool. Sure, it’s been “restored”. What hasn’t? I got lucky on even a Sunday and was really hot but could drive all the way up. Not crowded. The Duke or whatever that restored it 80 years ago, as his “life’s...More

The castle is a 30 minutes drive from Córdoba. Its impossible to miss. The roads up to the castle are very tight and nerve wracking. Once your at the top, the castle is great. They highlight areas in the castle where key scenes are shot....More

This was definitely worth a stop. There are beautiful views from the castle and it’s fun to walk through all the narrow passageways and stairs. It is NOT stroller friendly. We put our 16 month old in a front carrier which was perfect.

Our hotel host told us about this well-restored castle. It was worth the short drive to the top of the hill, where there is free parking. The admission price was not too bad, and we got a senior discount. We enjoyed wandering through and climbing...More

When we climbed the hill early in the morning, we arrived at the top and the castle was closed. They open every day at 11:00 am, every day of the week.
