Great beach.

Loved this beach. You can snorkel or higher canoes to go to nearby coves and Islands. Good restaurants and hotels nearby and lots of choice hiring gear. Truly idyllic

This was the most beautiful and peaceful beach we have visited so far! Mostly all the tourists and family like the other beach Aharen just on the other side of this island and so this beach here is usually quiet and not so crowded. This beach was my husbands favorite because there were no restricting swimming boarders and there were... More

Smaller scale than Aharen, there is but a small shower and toilet shed a bit further from the beach. This beach is next to the Tokashiku marine village hotel, so you7re still in civilization. It is far less crowded than Aharen beach, but a bit out of the way yet most B&b can arrange to drive you there for 500... More

Beautiful beach, perfect temperature water, nice snorkel and if you swim far back you will see an unbelievable blue water! They have some roofs with banchs and tables, perfect for relaxing. I loved a day trip in there!

If you are on Tokashiki Island this is one of the nicest beaches. You should go. The water is very clean.

The advertisement brochure says Tokashiku Beach is a paradise on earth. It might be for tourists. For the cats living there it is their hell on earth. Closer to death than to life they are left to their hunger. In front of everybody's eyes and in one of the richest countries of the world. Shame on you! Make it a... More

A little gem in the Kerama Islands just small ferry journey out from Naha in Okinawa, Japan. The island has 2 villages and I stayed in Aharen. Wonderful snorkelling in warm torquose waters with powder soff sand. Watch the clown fish (Nemo) amidst the coral walls and a myriad of bright coloured fish. Beware though ..... there are black and... More

We arrived at Tokashiku shortly after a large typhoon had hit Okinawa. There was a lot of debris and mess on a large portion of the beach that made it seem "dirty". We had heard and read that you can see sea turtles in the waters of Okinawa, and headed off on our mission. We rented snorkeling gear just off... More

So we arrived early in the morning after hearing that this place was known for turles. Around 10am while snorkeling just past the roping we saw some. Well we saw 5 in a matter of 5 minutes and more started showing up. There followed us around as we snorkeled. Warning the large white fish will stalk you while you gaze... More
