We spend about 8 hours on the trails. Nothing to challenging, except a few boulders where you needed ropes to get on top, and great scenery all the way. We did see a family with small kids ( around 10) make it to the top...More

I did a lot of hiking. But Yakushima mountains give lots of water stream at high elevation. The rocks near the peaks are very impressive.
