Benesse House Museum- has a good collection of contemporary art pieces- painting, sculptures and art installations. Lovely gallery with each work given it's own place. Well worth a visit.

This is a wonderful museum inside the Benesse House hotel. There are quite a variety of modern art inside including paintings, sculptures, light scupltures. We particularlyed liked the neon light phrases sculpture. The museum building is also beautiful as with all the buildings of Benesse...More

I really liked this museum, and liked that it was open from the morning to night... the art inside is very intresting and the architecture as well. The view outside the island are very nice...

As house gests we enjoyed the many objects and installations. The architecture of Adao Tando is also an integral part of the museum

The Benesse Museum is part of the benesse complex, unfortunately not all of it is accessible for museum visitors. The museum itself is great, has some great works on display. Getting to the museum requires taking their private special bus.
