The park lands near Mt. Bandai in Japan are sumptuous, with gorgeous walkways among lakes that are often surreal shades of blue and green owing to their volcanic mineral content (i.e., selenium and sulfur). Lovely wildlife is on view, and one occasionally comes upon morel hunters as well. I thoroughly enjoyed hiking here. After the crush of Tokyo, visitors here... More
