Good access from Tokyo (bullet train plus direct bus), with a comfortable and family friendly resort hotel right next to the slopes. Check the snow conditions on their homepage (English version available). Also, refer to "hiddenjapanguide" for more on the whole resort

Best skiing we've had overseas! The snow was perfect and again, the service was wonderful. The food wasn't my favorite, but that was as important as the skiing.
