Good facilities and a beautiful place to visit for boarding or skiing. One negative... the place is quite spread out, there are busses around, but can be quite a pain for the amount of people around.

Yes, a few on the mountain of Happo One and many others in Hakuba or nearby in Echoland or Wadano, both Western and Japanese.

Also - in thinking about it - be sure to inquire ahead of time at the tourist information office in Hakuba, (which is also where you can catch some of the buses). They are very helpful.
