If, for any reason which I can't think of, you get sick of Happo-one, or you just feel like a change, then Hakuba 47 and Goryu are excellent alternatives. Plenty of options for all levels of skier

We enjoyed Hakuba 47 and the linked resort Goryu the most out of all of the options at Hakuba. There was great snow linked with lots of variety, in a great tree setting. Restraints on both sites provided more choice than other places and the...More

We skied the Goryu, Iimori and Hakuba 47 all together. The slopes are connected through gondolas. Hakuba 47 is more difficult than those at Goryu and Iimori. But there is a kids park at the base. This is one of the restaurant at the base...More

A great mountain, good options to ride trees safely. Good park, Ski patrol very helpful. A good place that's not too busy midweek.

Along with Goryu, our most favourite Hakuba Vallley skifield so far. Beautiful, powdery snow. Interesting, sparsely populated runs. Varying levels of snow ability catered for, from beginner right through to expert. Great little snow park with halfpipe and jumps. No lines at the lifts. Great...More

This was our first ski trip for the children 16 and 6. They spent 3 hours to learn, and was able to enjoy the slope withe the ski lift.

The part is fantastic, not only for skiers but also for the little children sine there was a area young kids and play around. The Hakuba 47 is connected with Goryu ski slopes up the mountains. Worthy to visit!
