Very cold when we arrived, but the bridges, streams, trees and mini falls made good photo opportunities. Bring an empty bottle to collect the spring water, it's a fun activity for the kids.

I was told it's called the little Mt Fuji of Hokkaido. This place is beautiful and surrounded by scenic views with great photo opportunities. A little gift shop is available at the observatory center.
