Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Perhaps the weather helped but this was the most stunning beach with mountain backdrop, white golden sand, clear stunning water. As pure as it gets!

It was wet and windy when we visited which added to the atmosphere, so we stopped and had a look at the rugged coastline
It is not hard to imagine how hard it would have been to survive here in earlier times, and why this part of Ireland has retained its unique character

Came here with my in-laws, husband, and dog. The beach was practically untouched except for the horses riding through from the golf club. We waited for the horses to leave the beach before we let out dog loose. We let him play fetch with his ball. He enjoyed sniffing around and we enjoyed the walk along the beach. It was absolutely gorgeous and so quiet. There was no one else on the beach once the horses were gone.

This stretch of coast is beautiful and unique. I love coming here in off season when there isn't a sinner around and the weather is a little wild. The entire landscape is rugged and wonderful.

This is a lovely beach with White Sands and clear water. It is relatively well sheltered. There is however limited parking - so try and cycle or walk when vistiing

lovely untouched white beaches all linked by outcrops of rocks, lots of rock pools for children to discover sea life, great walks either on the beach or common

There are a range of beautiful beaches along the one stretch of coastline here, some long, some quite tiny but all with beautiful clear water. For everyone!

Glorious sandy beach near Connemara Golf Club. Seems very safe - at least it shelves very gently and there are no warning signs. Rocks to clamber over.
