Great mountain biking venue, shame so many people avoid paying the small parking charge. Unfortunately the cafe is a shadow of its former self. The food is mediocre and way overpriced. The service is poor and the bins are overflowing. I expect the covid19 excuse will be trotted out but the quality is simply substandard.

We were gobsmacked at how poor the food was and how expensive relative to the quality of it. Shocking

Ok here is some info to start DescriptionLlandegla Forest is a forest of planted conifers covering 2.5 sq miles in Denbighshire, north-east Wales. It is situated to the south-east of the village of Llandegla at the north-western edge of Ruabon Moors. Okay I suddenly have some time off and the family have given me the green light to go mountain biking to ease the stress of lockdown for me and my job. I came up here as the shop was closing I arrived which was fine. It closed at five but the park closes at 9 o’clock in the evening I met two guys who offered to take me round with them. Clearly in the mountain bike community everybody is helpful and encouraging of others these two guys showed me the ropes and we’ve become friends on Strava. The shop looks amazing food looks fantastic the staff look great the trail is incredible and challenging I absolutely loved it they did not have too much time to enjoy it as I was trying to keep up with these two of the legends ahead of me. Come here you won’t regret it. I was on an E bike so could handle The huge ups and downs. If you are not fit you will struggle with the red and the black heed my warning even the blue will be challenging with the up and down of this place. But if you’re fit or have an eBike this place is amazing. The parking is fine looking for it was a bit tricky not for the satnav but they could have even better signs explaining the entrance I drove past it the first time that would be my only negative feedback other than that great first day I plan to do another morning here then drive to Snowdon tonight.

The setup at the forest is great for walkers, trail runners and mountain bikers alike. Multiple trails offering varying distances, we took the dog and had a great hour or so walking. Toilets and Cafe onsite too.

Have been going to Llandegla for a number of years. Food used to be amazing but it has really gone downhill. Very limited options and nothing for anyone wanting to be in the slightest bit health conscious. Had a jacket potato with cheese and beans for £8!!!! And it was simply that. I go for the love of the Forrest and for the exercise, would be great to see some options that meet today’s standards when it comes to healthy interesting food. Used to source locally - no evidence of this whatsoever. Would love to take over and revamp this!
