The Trentham Estate is home to the award-winning Trentham Gardens featuring The Italian Garden by Tom Stuart-Smith, and the Floral Labyrinth and Rivers of Grass by Piet Oudolf and vast wildflower and woodland meadow plantings by Nigel Dunnett. It's very pleasant with some interesting pathways, but for such a short walk the prices are astronomical. Stoke-on-Trent is dripping with countryside that doesn't cost a thing, I'd recommend that instead.More

We are regular visitors to the Gardens as we are annual ticket holders which we purchase with our Tesco points. Weather it is summer or winter the surroundings are fabulous and we love the changes throughout the year. Our grandson loves the play area.More

Unfortunately the gardens were not accessible due to high winds but this did not detract as there are many craft shops, eating and drinking establishments in the village area, all pleasant and reasonably priced, one of which is dog friendly.More
